97% of the records in my West Wickham food business list have no website recorded.

West Wickham is the smallest list of the five: 65 independent cafés, restaurants, pubs and takeaways, all in one district, BR4. 63 of those records have no website recorded.

With a list this small, each business is worth between one and two per cent of the total, so a few changes would move the percentage. 19 of the 65 have a High Street address. Croydon Road has 9, Glebe Way 7, Red Lodge Road 6 and Addington Road 5. Those five roads hold 46 of the 65.

The list has 63 distinct addresses for 65 businesses, so almost every entry is its own premises.

The limited companies

Only 6 of the 65 are active limited companies on the Companies House register, and I found a website from the company name for 2 of them. Those 2 are the only businesses on the whole West Wickham list with a site on record. I did not look for the other 59 in that way, so the list shows no site for any of them. That is a limit of my method, and it makes the 63 look more certain than it is.

What this count does not tell you

The Food Standards Agency register has no website field, and every West Wickham entry comes from it. The 63 records with no website recorded do not establish how many businesses have no website; that number may be lower. Because the list is so small, a single sole trader with a good website would be enough to move the percentage. The register’s café and restaurant group also takes in at least one football club and one golf club.

Nothing here measures how a site looks on a phone, whether it takes bookings, or whether the Google profile is claimed. I also cannot see closures since I pulled the register on 20 September 2026.
