£79 a month for web design in south-east London, with no minimum term.
I'm Serhat, and I design websites for small businesses across south-east London from my base in Bromley. If you search for a web designer in south-east London you will mostly find agencies who are far from you and priced for bigger budgets. I'm one person, close by, and plans start at £79 a month plus a £49 setup fee, with no minimum term.
This page explains where I work, how we would meet, and how to choose a local web designer, wherever in the area you are.
Why a Bromley base works for south-east London
Bromley has quick train and bus links into Lewisham, Greenwich, Croydon and Bexley. That makes it a practical place to work from. I see how businesses in the borough present themselves, and I see how that changes a few miles up the road.
My home patch is the London Borough of Bromley, and each main area has its own page:
- Web design in Bromley, the full guide to what I offer
- Web design in Beckenham
- Web design in Orpington
- Web design in Chislehurst
- Web design in West Wickham
Beyond the borough: Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley and Croydon
I also take on clients in the neighbouring boroughs. The types of business differ a little from place to place:
- Lewisham: independent cafés, makers, studios and repair trades around Catford, Lewisham and Blackheath, where a clear Google listing matters as much as the website.
- Greenwich: visitor-facing shops, restaurants and service businesses that get both locals and passing trade.
- Bexley: established trades, garages and professional practices around Sidcup and Bexleyheath.
- Croydon: a crowded market where plain pricing and a fast phone experience help a small business stand out.
My October 2026 review of 95 local business websites included 9 in Croydon and 4 in Sidcup, so these are places I have looked at closely, not just listed on a page.
In person or over video
Many clients prefer to meet once, at the start, and then work by phone, WhatsApp and email. Others never need to meet at all. Here is how it works:
- Anywhere in south-east London: I'm usually happy to meet in person if that helps you feel comfortable.
- Further afield: a video call or a phone call covers nearly everything. I can look at your premises, signs and products through your phone camera if needed.
- After the first call: changes go through WhatsApp or email, and most are done without a meeting.
The first step is always a free 15-minute call at book a free 15-minute call, wherever you are.
Local web designer or London agency?
There is a place for large agencies, but a small business often gets more from someone who answers their own phone. Here is what I'd weigh up:
- Who builds it. With me, the person on the first call does the work.
- What it costs. My prices are published on the pricing page, with no VAT added because I'm not VAT registered.
- Who owns it. You can rent monthly or buy outright with Own It for £995 one-off.
- How easy it is to leave. Plans roll monthly. If I stop being useful, you stop paying.
What I'd check on any local business site
Whatever part of south-east London you are in, the same basics decide whether a site helps or just sits there. Look at your own site on your phone and ask:
- Does it say which areas you serve, in words a customer would use?
- Can someone call you with one tap?
- Are your prices, or a clear starting point, visible?
- Is your Google Business Profile claimed, current and consistent with the site?
- Do you know how many people visit?
If you want a second opinion, run the free business check. My guide to claiming your Google Business Profile covers the profile side.
Wording that helps you show up in the right places
One of the gaps I saw most in my review was simple: 40 of 95 sites never mentioned their own town. If you serve several areas, say so plainly. A plumber in Catford who also covers Bromley and Sidcup should name those places on the page, in sentences a customer would write, not in a long list of keywords.
The same goes for your Google Business Profile. Keep the address, service areas and opening hours consistent with the site, and ask happy customers for reviews. My guide to getting more Google reviews shows a simple way to do it.

Questions
Do you work with businesses outside Bromley?
Yes. I serve the whole Bromley borough and take on clients in Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley and Croydon, plus further afield by video and phone.
Do we have to meet in person?
No. A free 15-minute call is the start, and many clients never meet me. Anywhere in south-east London I'm usually happy to meet if you would like to.
Is the price different outside Bromley?
No. The same published prices apply wherever you are. Show Up is £79 a month plus a £49 setup fee, and the pricing page shows every plan.
Can you help if I already have a website?
Yes. Start with the free business check to see what to fix. Sometimes a few changes are enough, and sometimes a fresh site makes more sense.
How do I know whether I need a new website or just a fix?
Look at it on your phone. If it is slow, hard to read, missing prices or has no tap-to-call button, those are fixable on a new five-page site. If the site is fine but nobody finds it, the Google Business Profile is often the first thing to sort out. A short call is enough to tell the difference, and I'll say so honestly if you do not need me.
Do you cover Kent as well?
I focus on south-east London, but I can work with a business anywhere, including Kent, by phone, video and WhatsApp. Just ask on a free call.
Can you build a site for a business with more than one location?
Yes, within reason. A five-page site can cover a main base and the areas you serve. If you run four or more locations, see the group options on the pricing page or ask on a call.
What if I want to own the website?
Own It is the five-page site and Google profile bought outright for £995 one-off, with an optional care plan at £39 a month.
