£79 a month for small business web design in West Wickham, with no minimum term.
If you run a small shop on a West Wickham parade, or a home service that covers Coney Hall, Hayes and the roads around, most new customers find you on Google Maps first. I am Serhat, a web designer based in Bromley, and I offer web design West Wickham businesses can afford: a five-page, mobile-friendly small business website for £79 a month plus a £49 setup fee, with no minimum term.
West Wickham is a high street town with plenty of everyday trade. People here shop locally and ask neighbours who to call. What has changed is where they ask. They search on a phone, look at the map and the reviews, and only then open a website. I build the whole chain: the map listing, the reviews and the site behind it.
Map first, website second
Type "hairdresser near me" or "plumber near me" and Google shows a map with three businesses. Being among them depends heavily on your Google Business Profile: the right category, accurate hours, photos, a service area and recent reviews. The website then backs it up.
Your Google Business Profile is set up and maintained in every plan. If you want to claim it yourself first, my guide to claiming your Google profile walks through it. I cannot promise a ranking, and nobody honest can, but a complete profile and a clear website give you the best chance.
Web design West Wickham shops can keep up with
A parade shop does not have time to run a website. Two content changes a month are included, enough to post new opening hours, a seasonal offer, a new product or a holiday closure. Send me a message or a photo on WhatsApp and I handle it. I look after every client myself, so you are not filing tickets with a call centre.
The parades here serve regulars first, so the site does not have to shout. It has to be correct, easy to read and quick on a phone. A visitor on the way to the High Street wants your address, today's hours and a number to ring if the door is shut. Anything else is a bonus.
- Your opening hours and bank holiday changes, kept correct.
- Photos of the shopfront, so people know which door to look for.
- Your phone number as a tap-to-call link.
- Parking and the nearest bus stop or station, if it helps.
Home services covering Coney Hall, Hayes and Monks Orchard
If you travel to customers, such as a cleaner, gardener, handyman, dog walker or mobile hairdresser, the question is not where your shop is. It is whether you will come to my road. A service area on your Google profile and on your website answers it. I name the places you cover, so that someone in Coney Hall, Hayes, Monks Orchard or on the Shirley side can see you work near them.
It also saves wasted calls. If you do not cover a particular postcode, say so on the page, and you will get fewer enquiries you have to turn down. If you offer a call-out fee, a minimum job size or a waiting time, a plain sentence about it builds trust before anyone picks up the phone.
If your hands are full when the phone rings, Missed-call text-back: coming soon for Show Up & Book clients. Included at no extra cost from the day it goes live. See the online booking page for more.
Small is fine, but it needs the basics
In October 2026 I reviewed the websites of 95 small businesses around Bromley borough and south-east London, including 2 in West Wickham. What I found was less about design than about basics:
- 40 of 95 never mentioned their own town on the page.
- 49 of 95 (about half) had no visitor analytics at all.
- 12 of 95 had no tap-to-call phone link.
- 63 of 95 had no structured data telling Google what the business is and does.
Each of these is quick to fix, and none of them costs much. The free business check shows you where your own site stands.
Reviews from the neighbours
In a place where people recommend each other, a handful of honest Google reviews carries real weight. The simplest way to get them is to ask every happy customer, soon after the job or the sale. On Show Up & Book, a review request goes out after each visit automatically. There is a practical guide to getting more Google reviews if you want to start by hand.

Questions
How much is a website for a small West Wickham shop?
Show Up is £79 a month plus a £49 setup fee, with no minimum term. You can own it outright for £995 one-off instead. There is no VAT added.
Will my business show up on Google Maps?
I set up and maintain your Google Business Profile, which is what the map uses. I cannot promise a position, but a complete, accurate profile with photos and reviews gives you a proper chance.
I travel to customers. Can I list the areas I cover?
Yes. Your Google profile can show a service area, and your website can name places like Coney Hall, Hayes, Monks Orchard and the Shirley side.
Can I change my opening hours or prices myself?
You can ask me. Two content changes a month are included, so a message or photo on WhatsApp is enough. Anything beyond that, we agree first.
What if I only want something very simple?
The five-page Show Up site is already simple, and it keeps the cost to £79 a month. You can add booking or an AI receptionist later if the business grows.
Do I get a report to see whether it is working?
Yes. You receive a one-page report each month, so you can see what the site is doing without having to learn analytics.
